“The best cover band I’ve ever heard!”

Michael Tait, Artistic Associate – Harbourfront Centre

“Tim, it was our pleasure!  The music was great!  Please pass my compliments to the rest of the guys. I look forward to working with you again.  Thank you!”

Miles Nadal – Jewish Community Centre

“We were lucky to have booked Tim Bovaconti for our wedding.  He kept the party going well into the wee hours of the morning.  The dance floor was always packed as Tim played request after request satisfying everyone’s need to boogie.  It’s been three years since our wedding and people STILL tell us how awesome our wedding was.  I credit a lot of this to Tim and his merry men.”

Sherry & Michael

“A very special part of the Gala evening was the generous contribution made by Baby Come Back!  Music has always been an integral part of Megan’s Walk.  Band members, Peter Fusco, Patrick Allcock, Blake Manning, with special featured guest David Celia, added sparkle to the Gala evening and entertained guests who throughly enjoyed their wonderful gift of music.   It was a highlight of the evening, and their presence and gifted talents were enjoyed by all! ”

Tim Bovaconti (Vocals/Guitar)

Tim Bovaconti has developed a reputation as a phenomenally talented multi-instrumentalist, performing, touring and recording with the likes of Burton Cummings, Randy Bachman, Ron Sexsmith, Leonard Cohen, Kim Stockwood, The Sattalites, Jerry Lee Lewis, Lost Dakotas, Kevin Hearn & Thin Buckle, Andy Kim (“Sugar,Sugar”), Sean Cullen and many others.  Tim is currently the guitarist with the Burton Cummings band. He recently recorded lead guitars/lap steel in Los Angeles with Burton for his album release Above the Ground and played on Cummings’ latest release Live at Massey Hall.  Tim is also the lead guitarist for Juno award-winning Ron Sexsmith.  In March 2013, Tim will join Ron’s band as they tour Europe, including a performance at London’s famed venue, the Royal Albert Hall.

Patrick Allcock (Vocals/Guitar)

Patrick Allcock is a Montreal-born singer-songwriter. A multi-instrumentalist, Patrick taught himself the drums at age eight and the guitar at 16, and later he mastered the arts of piano playing and composing. Patrick has been in bands, both original and cover, since the late 70s. Over the years, he has played with a wide variety of well-known and respected artists such as Glen Tillbrook (of Squeeze), Ron Sexsmith and Kim Stockwood. As one half of the duo Pat & Tim – Tim & Pat, Patrick can be regularly seen and heard around Toronto playing 70s classics with his long-time friend Tim Bovaconti.

Peter Fusco (Bass)

From rock to Celtic, country to pop, in stadiums and clubs around the world and back again, Peter Fusco has been there playing bass. Hailing from Toronto, his musical life started young. At the age of four, he begged his Italian immigrant parents to buy him a piano – a financial impossibility at the time. A year later, they found the money to enroll him in drum lessons. Those drum lessons turned into guitar, and guitar into bass. His musical influences were developed while scouring his family’s record collections where he discovered Dean Martin, The Ventures, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Buddy Holly and Johnny Cash. Peter has toured and recorded with Sarah Slean, Jeremy Fisher, Gordie Sampson, Justin Rutledge, Kyle Riabko, Leahy and Kim Stockwood, to name a just a few.

Blake Manning (Drums and Percussion)

Blake Manning attributes his love of playing music to his beloved grandfather – a modest farmer who found great pleasure drumming at kitchen parties and annual hometown parades. Little did his grandfather know that his love of music would jump start the career of one of the most sought-after touring and session drummers in the country. As a kid, Blake was particularly attracted to the hard-driving rhythms of bands like The Police and the Clash. By age 14, he took to the stage for his first professional engagement and hasn’t looked back. A master of the drums, guitar and bass, and vocals, Blake has recorded alongside legendary Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson, toured extensively with David Wilcox, Matthew Good and Shaye, and has recorded with such artists as Justin Rutledge, Jill Barber, Jesse Cook, and Alfie Zappacosta. Whether taking a Dobro lesson, plunking on a Sitar, or performing in front of stadium crowds, Blake continues to relish new musical experiences and to live the dream that started one afternoon with his grandfather’s makeshift snare drum.
